Nannup Music Festival have announced the first batch of artists performing at their 33rd event next year, going down in the South West town of Nannup from Friday, March 4 until Monday, March 7, 2022.
“After another long uncertain winter, there is hope for a communal summer, where we can together celebrate and immerse in the incredible music, interactive workshops, community, yummy food and festival markets strolling,” the event organisers Nannup Music Club revealed in a statement this week. “We can sing and dance, sip tea and splendour in all the good things.”
This week’s announce is said to be “a tiny glimpse” of the full line up, and includes Adrian Dzvuke, Bumpy, Emily Lubitz, Garrangali Band, Jeff Lang, Kee’ahn, King Ibis, Liz Stringer, Nathan Cavaleri, Queency, Red Engine Caves, Rose Parker Trio, Seawitch, Theona Councillor, Wasted Sons and Whiskey Jack. The full line up will be announced when tickets go on sale on Friday, November 1.
Nannup Music Festival is held annually over the March Labour Day long weekend, with the 2022 festival set to look similar to what it did this year in keeping with COVID-safe practices. “We have tweaked a few things and will continue to do so. The main change is we are bringing back the Playground and placing more stalls outside of our gates, so that everyone can access and enjoy. Let’s hope that we don’t need to revert this again, as we feel the sharing into the wider community is incredibly important and something we missed being able to offer this year. Cannot wait to share another incredible weekend together!”
Nannup Music Festival 2022 will go down from Friday, March 4 until Monday, March 7, 2022. Tickets are on sale Friday, November 1 from nannupmusicfestival.org
