The album’s catchy guitar hooks\, irresistible rhythms and dancefloor beats quickly made it a staple of the indie-dance scene. \nIn what will no doubt be a very special run of shows\, Two Door Cinema Club have invited The Vaccines on tour as their special guests\, to perform their breakthrough record What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? for its 15th anniversary. Having burst out of London with their album packed with high-energy classics such as ‘If You Wanna’\, ‘Post Break-Up Sex’ and ‘Wetsuit’\, its raw\, infectious sound helped cement the band as one of the UK’s most exciting guitar acts. \nFifteen years on\, Two Door Cinema Club’s Tourist History is lauded as an era-defining album\, forming the sound track to late night parties\, dancefloors and festivals around the world\, while The Vaccines What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? remains a touchstone of 2000s indie-rock. Australian and New Zealandfans will have the chance to experience wall-to-wall indie anthems as they perform those albums live\, with both bands delivering the beloved tracks that helped define a generation of guitar music.

SUMMARY:ROWENA WISE & her band - Bad Things Feel Good* Album Launch // Hobart
DESCRIPTION:Presented by Double J\, Beloved Records & Remote Control Records: \nThis October and November\, Rowena Wise takes her full band on the road across Australia to support her sophomore album\, Bad Things Feel Good*. The record is a tender\, point-blank look at the pain of transformation and what it means to be flesh and blood — from Melbourne to Brisbane\, Sydney to Hobart and beyond. \nWritten over two years of near-constant touring and recorded live over three days at The Ratshack in Collingwood with producer Rob Muinos (Julia Jacklin\, Didirri)\, the album traces heartbreak\, estrangement\, and the knottier growing pains of adulthood through candid poetic lyricism and a raw live production. The songs hold space rather than demand attention\, and live\, they hit even harder. \nSince debuting in 2018\, she has amassed over 10 million streams\, earned airplay across triple j\, Double j and Unearthed\, and toured extensively across Australia\, the UK\, Europe\, the USA and Canada\, supporting artists including Holy Holy\, Ball Park Music\, Bernard Fanning and Paul Dempsey. Her 2024 debut album\, Senseless Acts of Beauty\, was praised by CLASH Magazine as “carefully etched indie folk” and shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize. Her highly anticipated sophomore album\, Bad Things Feel Good*\, a tender\, point-blank meditation on transformation\, is out August 7\, 2026 via Beloved Records. \n“Carefully etched indie folk” — CLASH Magazine“Fragrant introspection” — FLOOD \nSupported by Double J

SUMMARY:An Evening with Kristin Hersh - Lynott's Lounge\, Perth
DESCRIPTION:Celebrated songwriter Kristin Hersh will return to Australia this November for a run of intimate headline shows in support of her forthcoming new album Sugar On Blackstone\, out 18 September via Fire Records. \nRenowned for her fiercely emotional performances and uncompromising songwriting\, Hersh’s Australian dates will see her bring songs from Sugar On Blackstone to audiences across the country alongside highlights from her extensive catalogue. \nFollowing on from 2023’s Clear Pond Road\, Sugar On Blackstone is a darker yet delicately rendered collection exploring life and death\, memory\, survival and human connection. Deeply personal and emotionally expansive\, the album reflects on the lasting bonds between musicians\, family and friends\, and the way certain sounds and places can suddenly bring someone vividly back into focus. \nNew single ‘Dark-Eyed Junco’ offers another striking glimpse into the album\, pairing lucid melodies with deeply autobiographical storytelling. Recorded at Stable Sound Studios\, the album features longtime collaborators Rob Ahlers (50FOOTWAVE) on drums and Pete Harvey (Throwing Muses) on cello. \nLong celebrated as one of alternative music’s most singular voices\, Hersh continues to deliver performances that are both intensely intimate and disarmingly powerful – a rare opportunity to experience one of modern music’s most influential songwriters up close. \nKRISTIN HERSHSUGAR ON BLACKSTONEAUSTRALIAN TOUR 2026 \nFri 13 Nov – Young St. Tavern – FrankstonSat 14 Nov – The Toff in Town – MelbourneSun 15 Nov – The Vanguard – SydneyFri 20 Nov – Cave Inn – BrisbaneSat 21 Nov – Grace Emily Hotel – AdelaideSun 22 Nov – Lynott’s Lounge – Perth \nTICKETS ON SALE NOW!

SUMMARY:Fischer-Z | Rosemount Hotel | North Perth\, Australia
DESCRIPTION:Fischer-Z will embark on their first ever Australian tour in November and December 2026\, joining the band’s worldwide 50th anniversary celebrations. \nWhile Fischer-Z have never previously toured Australia\, their music has enjoyed genuine chart success here. Fischer-Z’s breakthrough global hit “So Long” (1980) peaked at #15 on the Kent Music Report (pre-ARIA era) and earned the band significant national airplay. Coupled with the charting success of the later single “The Perfect Day” (1987 – #12 on the ARIA Charts)\, these achievements gave Fischer-Z a strong foothold with Australian audiences and laid the foundations for a loyal fan base. Australia continues to rank as Fischer-Z’s fourth biggest market for Spotify streaming. \nFischer-Z’s story is steeped in the unconventional. John Watts first entered the pop music world in the 1970s\, after studying clinical psychology — working in an experimental psychiatric facility that didn’t use drugs or restraints. “I’d be doing a shift there from 8–4pm then get in a van to do a gig in Derby\,” John Watts recalls. “I’d literally dealt with raging psychos all day\, so I wasn’t afraid of the punk crowds. You go out and play in Wolverhampton … some snotty little 17-year-olds who threaten to put a cigarette out on your leg and you think\, ‘Well\, come on then!’” \nIn 1976\, Watts teamed up with synth player Steve Skolnik at Brunel University to form Fischer-Z. Their reputation for political songwriting\, and frenetic energy earned them a recording deal with United Artists in 1978\, putting them in the company of peers like The Stranglers and Buzzcocks. \nTheir debut album Word Salad (1979) made waves in the burgeoning post-punk world. Fischer-Z’s biggest global chart hit “So Long” (1980) became one of the first music videos ever aired on MTV\, propelling Fischer-Z onto the world stage. Their third album\, Red Skies Over Paradise (1981)\, featured the tracks “Marliese” and “Berlin\,” and remains one of their most commercially successful efforts. \nAcross Fischer-Z’s five-decade career\, they have released more than 23 albums and sold over two million records. They’ve played more than 3\,000 concerts across Europe\, North America\, and beyond. Collaborators have included Peter Gabriel\, Steve Cropper and the Brass Section of Dexy’s Midnight Runners. Fischer -Z have shared stages with giants like James Brown (167\,000-strong crowd in East Berlin)\, toured with The Police and Dire Straits\, and appeared alongside Bob Marley on his final European festival tour. \nIn recent years\, Watts has expanded his creative practice beyond music into multimedia art\, poetry and theatre\, while carrying forward a reputation for warmth\, humanity and restless curiosity. His 2025 project PUNKT! fuses his talents in music\, words and visual art into a singular vision. \n2026 is a watershed — 50 years since Fischer-Z’s founding in 1976. “I can’t believe it’s already been 50 years\,” says John. “It’s been a hell of a journey\, full of ups and downs but I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone and I’m up for it! Here’s to many more years of new music\, shows and art.” \nTo mark the milestone\, Fischer-Z will embark on an extensive world tour in Spring and Autumn 2026\, visiting Germany\, The Netherlands\, Belgium\, Luxembourg\, France\, Spain\, Portugal\, the UK — and for the first time ever — Australia. \nAt the same time\, the band will release a celebratory album titled 50/50. The LP is split: 5 brand new songs (3 earmarked as singles) and 5 re-imagined versions of Watts’ favourites from the first five albums. \nAccompanying the album will be a high-quality anniversary package\, celebrating Watts’ career and the musical journey of Fischer-Z. \nFischer-Z’s influence\, dedication\, and longevity have earned them a devoted\, cult following across generations

Having flirted with overseas territories successfully over the past 5 years\, the band are now heading out on their very first World Tour\, and have announced their return to Australia and New Zealand this November and December. \nRenowned for their raucous live shows\, and touted by many as the best live act of their generation\, the British 4-piece pride themselves on their honesty and pure energy. Having taken their native UK by storm\, with number one albums\, sold out park shows and major festival headlines\, the lads from Rotherham are taking on the world with their upcoming world tour. \nIn 2025 alone\, they toured the UK\, headlined Tramlines Festival and the iconic Wembley Arena. The upcoming world tour is a huge statement for a band who have hurdled every obstacle with nothing other than blue-collar grit and determination. It cements them as a band at the top of British music. The Reytons also recently announced their fourth studio album Love Letter To A Broken Town – due for release in July. \nRooted in the rough around the edges humour and honesty of everyday life\, The Reytons continue to channel their origins into everything they do\, and A Love Letter To A Broken Town sees them staying true to those roots while pushing their sound forward with confidence and intent.

Having already garnered widespread recognition for their meticulous attention to detail and fierce commitment to recreating the Swedish pioneers’ sonic mastery\, Shuggah Daddies deliver an experience that goes far beyond a cover gig. It’s a deep dive into the controlled chaos\, mechanical power\, and hypnotic precision that has defined Meshuggah’s legacy. \nWith the band gathering widespread attention within the global Meshuggah community\, Shuggah Daddies have quickly made their mark. Their recent live shows have sparked a wave of excitement as a must-see act for fans of the band. \nAt the heart of Shuggah Daddies are musicians of extraordinary pedigree\, each bringing their own expertise and fire to the performance: Ryan Felton and Simon Mitchell (both of Chaos Divine) anchor the band with their razor-sharp dual-guitar assault. Felton drives the creative engine with relentless energy\, overseeing programming\, arrangements\, and stage production\, while Mitchell’s precise\, authoritative guitar work and acclaimed engineering ensure that both the live shows and recorded material replicate the crushing clarity and sonic weight of Meshuggah’s finest moments. \nAshley Doodkorte\, renowned drummer of Eurovision icons Voyager\, delivers a relentless polymetric barrage behind the kit\, shaping the band’s intense rhythm section while also overseeing the band’s visual identity through stunning graphics and projections. \nScott Henry of the rising band Primrose Path serves as the backbone\, his seismic bass lines providing intricate texture and earth-shattering depth to the band’s sound. \nAnd at the helm is Andy “Ando” Jones of Pyromesh\, whose commanding stage presence channels the feral immediacy of a young Jens Kidman\, his voice cutting with explosive force. Jones is a commanding frontman\, uniting audience and band alike in the music’s unrelenting momentum\, delivered with a visceral execution. \nThis is not your typical tribute act. This is a full-on immersive experience. Shuggah Daddies don’t just play Meshuggah’s music; they invoke it. With an obsessive attention to detail and a fierce dedication to authenticity\, the band brings Meshuggah’s complex\, multi-layered sonic architecture to life with forensic accuracy. Every note\, every beat\, every visual element is crafted to transport the audience into the very heart of Meshuggah’s sonic universe. \nJoining the lineup is RATED R – The Australian Rammstein Experience\, bringing the power\, intensity and unmistakable sound of Rammstein to the stage. Delivering a high-energy performance packed with crushing riffs\, anthemic choruses and fan favourites spanning the band’s career\, Rated R captures the spirit of one of the world’s most iconic industrial metal acts.
