SUMMARY:𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐖 | Belle & Sebastian // Perth // Tigermilk 30th Anniverary //Astor Theatre
DESCRIPTION:𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒚 𝑨𝒍𝒍 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 \n𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐄𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐓𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐤 𝟑𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 \nTʜᴜʀsᴅᴀʏ 17ᴛʜ Sᴇᴘᴛᴇᴍʙᴇʀ Asᴛᴏʀ Tʜᴇᴀᴛʀᴇ\, PᴇʀᴛʜDᴏᴏʀs 7ᴘᴍ \n𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀:https://daltours.cc/26BAS-pert2 \nFollowing on from their recent Australian tour announce\, beloved Scottish indie pop group Belle and Sebastian have added a one-off show in Perth at The Astor Theatre performing Tigermilk in full as well as favourites from their stellar catalogue. Belle and Sebastian helped define a generation of indie pop with their quietly radical sound. Considered pioneers of the twee pop genre\, the band became known for their intricate\, 60’s inspired arrangements. With their charming\, nostalgic sound characterised by frontman Stuart Murdoch’s introspective lyrics\, the band offered an alternative to the bravado of Britpop. \nBelle and Sebastian’s debut album Tigermilk has since achieved near-mythic status among indie pop devotees. Originally pressed in a run of just 1\,000 vinyl copies after being recorded as part of a college music course\, the album introduced Stuart Murdoch’s tender\, sharply observed songwriting to the world. From the jangling immediacy of “The State I Am In” to the buoyant introspection of “Expectations\,” Tigermilk pairs literate\, character-driven storytelling with chamber-pop flourishes and understated melodic hooks. What began as a word-of-mouth treasure quickly became the blueprint for the band’s signature sound – wistful yet witty\, intimate yet quietly ambitious. In retrospective praise\, outlets including Pitchfork have hailed Tigermilk as a remarkably assured debut\, noting its emotional intelligence and melodic sophistication\, while The Guardian has celebrated the band’s early work for its poetic sensitivity and charm. Rolling Stone has likewise recognised the album’s enduring cult appeal\, citing its formative influence on late-’90s indie pop. \nDecades on\, Tigermilk remains a touchstone release – a quietly revolutionary first chapter that helped define an era of thoughtful\, bookish guitar music. raised as a “thoroughly impressive live band with an arsenal of songs that will always leave audiences wanting even more” (Volume Media)\, Belle & Sebastian create a stage dynamic that’s “both chaotic and utterly captivating” (Backseat Mafia). \nDon’t miss Belle and Sebastian’s return to Australia in September 2026

SUMMARY:55% SOLD 👽 ÆNIMA / MER DE NOMS performed live by ARIZONA BAYSWATER / SEA OF NAMES | FREO SOCIAL
DESCRIPTION:👁️TICKETS ON SALE NOW👁️ \n“A startling\, genre-defying record… equal parts menace\, beauty\, and controlled chaos.” \nWhen Tool released Ænima in 1996\, it redefined the possibilities of heavy music – a record that could be suffocating and expansive\, brutal and beautiful\, all at once. From the jagged urgency of “Stinkfist” to the spiralling introspection of “Forty Six & 2” and the apocalyptic release of “Ænema\,” it remains one of the most influential albums of its time. \nOn September 19\, Perth’s own 👽ARIZONA BAYSWATER👽 celebrate 30 years since its release by recreating the album in full with the precision\, intensity\, and immersive visual atmosphere that have made them one of the most authentic Tool tribute experiences you’ll find anywhere. \nBut this is more than a single-album show. \nOpening the night\, 🌹SEA OF NAMES🌹 perform Mer de Noms in its entirety – the landmark 2000 debut from A Perfect Circle\, the other iconic project led by Maynard James Keenan. \n“A haunting\, beautifully crafted record that proved heaviness could be both brutal and graceful.” \nBlending soaring melodies with brooding atmosphere\, Mer de Noms introduced a different side of Maynard’s voice — one that carried songs like “Judith\,” “3 Libras\,” and “The Hollow” to global success\, making it one of the most celebrated debut albums of its era. \nPerformed live\, front to back\, it provides the perfect counterpoint to Ænima – light and shade\, melody and aggression\, two sides of the same creative force. \nTwo era-defining albums. \nOne singular voice connecting them. \n💥Under 18’s permitted with legal parent or guardian!💥
