SUMMARY:The Community Chest "(it's so) Funny (now)" w/ Deep Beep\, Pastel Suburbs and Macho Men
DESCRIPTION:The Community ChestDeep BeepPastel SuburbsMacho Men \nIt’s so) Funny (now) is the first single from a forthcoming mini album by The Community Chest. Despite the upbeat title and catchy\, repetitive melody\, the song hints at loss and regret whilst trying to make light of it retrospectively. Sparce\, yet carefully layered\, “Funny” changes tone from ethereal synth pads and crystal guitar to a jolting middle section of mouth percussion and a broken Korg M700 synth from 1974 to a delicious distorted kraut rock finale – the school gates opening for summer break. \n“Some time ago I took out my old 4-track recorder that all the early Turnstyle stuff was recorded on and set it up in the loungeroom with my guitar plugged straight into it. I sat watching movies with the sound down and just came up with musical sketches and overdubbed over those. I came up with quote a few songs that way. One of them was the tune that become “Funny”. It was originally called Park Slope as a homage to David Berman but I changed it once the lyrics took shape. As usual we recorded the song in loopy layers until we arrived at the main sections. I love how it’s the same thing over and over but just framed differently.” – Adem K

Hailing from Newport in Wales\, 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐃’s innovation and hybrid agility saw the group explode out of the underground and into enduring infamy\, now with eight studio albums to date\, multiple award wins\, countless performances and millions of fans spanning the globe\, all under the ardent gaze of frontman Benji Webbe. \nReleasing their debut album Babylon in 2002\, 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐃 have consistently unleashed new music throughout their career\, and 2026 is no exception with the hotly-anticipated release of their ninth studio album You Got This due out on April 17. Featuring the newly slimmed-down trio of Webbe\, Mikey Demus and Arya Goggin working alongside GRAMMY-winning producer Jay Ruston (Diana Ross\, Meat Loaf\, Mr Bungle)\, You Got This picks up where the band’s acclaimed 2023 album Smile left off\, with vibrant dancehall hues fused with hooks\, earworms and hard-hitting slammers all lying in wait on album #9; and it’s a collection of songs that are also set to inevitably stun in a live setting. \nOn a live front\, 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐃 are certainly not your average band\, with their exuberant brand of chaos never skimping on unity as well as pedal-to-the-metal technicality. Whether performing alongside the likes of KISS\, Korn\, Papa Roach and Rob Zombie\, or leaving festival crowds in a sweaty euphoria on some of the biggest global stages\, it’s not hyperbole to declare that a 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐃 live show is something you’ll be talking about for years\, if not decades\, to come. Most recently delighting Aussie fans in 2024\, performing as part of Knotfest Australia\, 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐃’s previous down under performances have been praised time and time again\, with Scenestr declaring of the band’s 2024 appearance at Knotfest in Brisbane: “𝑆𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑟𝑒𝑑 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑙𝑦 𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑠 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑑𝑢𝑎𝑙 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑎𝑢𝑑𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑖𝑟 𝑢𝑛𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑑 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑔𝑒 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑚𝑎..\,𝑆𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑟𝑒𝑑 𝑑𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑑 𝑎 𝑠𝑒𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑜𝑑 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑎𝑠 𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑙𝑦 𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒.” \nThis September\, don’t forget a t-shirt for the Newport Helicopter and don’t miss 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐃 bringing that boom down under!

SUMMARY:Bury Tomorrow - Australia 2026 with Gideon (US) & Headwreck – Perth 18+
DESCRIPTION:Destroy All Lines Presents \nBury TomorrowAustralian Tour with special guests Gideon (US)+ Headwreck \nFriday 11th September Magnet House\, Perth 18+Doors 7pm \nTickets On Sale Now:https://daltours.cc/26BUR-pert \nBritish metalcore titans Bury Tomorrow will return to Australia this September in support of their latest album Will You Haunt Me\, With That Same Patience. The band will headline shows across the country with support from Alabama thrashers\,Gideon\, and today announce the addition of Brisbane nu-metal provocateurs Headwreck. \nFor Bury Tomorrow\, the last two years have been defined by transformation. From the disorientation of line-up changes and COVID-inspired roadblocks\, to the arrival of guitarist Ed Hartwell and keyboardist/vocalist Tom Prendergast\, the band have rebuilt themselves from the inside out. Their 2023 record The Seventh Sun marked the beginning of their rebirth\, but their newest chapter\, Will You Haunt Me\, With That Same Patience\, is where everything truly came together. Crafted more intimately and intricately than ever before by internalising every aspect of the writing process\, with Carl Bown (Sleep Token\, Bullet For My Valentine\, While She Sleeps) manning production duties for the first time\, the result is a profoundly personal\, extraordinarily expansive and punishingly grand display of cathartic craftsmanship. \nTo have allowed themselves the time and space to reach this point of comfort and confidence now feels like a starting point for everything that the band will do in the future. Expanding their empire in all corners of the world and delivering their biggest statement of intent to date is the beginning of a whole new chapter in the story of one of the most devastating and dedicated assets to British heavy music. \nJoining them in Australia is Gideon\, known for blending metalcore with no-frills heaviness and their signature southern groove\, fuelling them since 2008. Gideon have earned a reputation for their intense live shows\, relentless touring ethic and thunderous sound. Over the years\, Gideon has evolved from small-town beginnings into one of the most respected names in heavy music. Their records reflect the reality of life on the road and the lessons learned along the way – hard work\, resilience\, and a commitment to doing things their own way. Their last trip to Australia saw them supporting Void Of Vision in February 2025\, delivering a set that left fans hungry for their return. \nCatch two of metal’s most captivating forces live in action next September. Tickets available Friday 14th November at 11am local time via Destroy All Lines

With their charming\, nostalgic sound characterised by frontman Stuart Murdoch’s introspective lyrics\, the band offered an alternative to the bravado of Britpop. \nTheir sophomore album 𝐼𝑓 𝑌𝑜𝑢’𝑟𝑒 𝐹𝑒𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑆𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟. has grown to become a cult favourite. SUMMARY:ÆNIMA / MER DE NOMS performed live by ARIZONA BAYSWATER / SEA OF NAMES | FREO SOCIAL | 19 SEPT 2026
DESCRIPTION:👁️TICKETS ON SALE NOW👁️ \n“A startling\, genre-defying record… equal parts menace\, beauty\, and controlled chaos.” \nWhen Tool released Ænima in 1996\, it redefined the possibilities of heavy music – a record that could be suffocating and expansive\, brutal and beautiful\, all at once. From the jagged urgency of “Stinkfist” to the spiralling introspection of “Forty Six & 2” and the apocalyptic release of “Ænema\,” it remains one of the most influential albums of its time. \nOn September 19\, Perth’s own 👽ARIZONA BAYSWATER👽 celebrate 30 years since its release by recreating the album in full with the precision\, intensity\, and immersive visual atmosphere that have made them one of the most authentic Tool tribute experiences you’ll find anywhere. \nBut this is more than a single-album show. \nOpening the night\, 🌹SEA OF NAMES🌹 perform Mer de Noms in its entirety – the landmark 2000 debut from A Perfect Circle\, the other iconic project led by Maynard James Keenan. \n“A haunting\, beautifully crafted record that proved heaviness could be both brutal and graceful.” \nBlending soaring melodies with brooding atmosphere\, Mer de Noms introduced a different side of Maynard’s voice — one that carried songs like “Judith\,” “3 Libras\,” and “The Hollow” to global success\, making it one of the most celebrated debut albums of its era. \nPerformed live\, front to back\, it provides the perfect counterpoint to Ænima – light and shade\, melody and aggression\, two sides of the same creative force. \nTwo era-defining albums. \nOne singular voice connecting them. \n💥Under 18’s permitted with legal parent or guardian!💥

Accompanying herself on acoustic guitar\, Vega sang what has been called contemporary folk or neo-folk songs of her own creation in Greenwich Village clubs. Since the release of her self-titled\, critically acclaimed 1985 debut album\, she has given sold-out concerts in many of the world’s best-known venues. Known for performances that convey deep emotion\, Vega’s distinctive\, “clear\, unwavering voice” (Rolling Stone) has been described as “a cool\, dry sandpaper-brushed near-whisper” by The Washington Post\, with NPR Music noting that she “has been making vital\, inventive music” throughout the course of her decades-long career. Bearing the stamp of a masterful storyteller who “observes the world with a clinically poetic eye” (The New York Times)\, Vega’s songs have tended to focus on city life\, ordinary people and real-world subjects. Notably succinct and understated\, her work is immediately recognizable—as utterly distinct and thoughtful as it was when her voice was first heard on the radio over 40 years ago.

Hailing from Lancaster\, Pennsylvania\, the band’s milestones and legacy span everything from multiple top-10 placements on the Billboard Top 200\, to tours with everyone from Bullet For My Valentine to A Day To Remember and countless more. \nWith two GRAMMY Award nominations in their wake—nominated for Best Metal Performance in 2016 for “Identity” and again in 2018 for “Invisible Enemy”—AUGUST BURNS RED have never rested on their laurels or stopped pushing the limits of their sound. This fact has loudly carried into 2026 with the upcoming release of their tenth studio album\, Season Of Surrender\, due out on June 5 via Fearless Records. \nOn the live front\, AUGUST BURNS RED’s reputation is as formidable as their creative output. Renowned for their visceral performances across the globe\, they most recently stupefied Australian crowds in 2023 supporting Polaris nationally on the Fatalism Tour. Praised by Scenestr for delivering “a raging masterclass in pure American metalcore with a 20-year\, career-spanning set list that resonated spectacularly” during their Adelaide show\, X-Press Magazine also declared of the band’s 2023 Perth performance that ABR demonstrated “why they have cemented themselves as one of the most respected names in the scene.” \nBLOOM \nOne of Australia’s most prolific rising heavy acts\, BLOOM wield an open-veined take on melodic hardcore that has seen them tour the globe\, release two full-length albums\, and cultivate an army of dedicated fans along the way. Emerging in 2017\, BLOOM released their 2024 debut full-length\, Maybe In Another Life\, before swiftly turning their gaze to their 2025 sophomore album\, The Light We Chase. \nWowing with their multi-faceted and matured collection of songs on album number two\, and expanding their creative reach further than ever before\, BLOOM kicked off 2026 with their biggest headline performances to date\, touring Australia nationally to celebrate The Light We Chase. Whether sharing stages with the likes of Silverstein and Thornhill or enamouring as headliners\, you can definitely count on one thing when it comes to a BLOOM live show: it is seriously not to be missed. \nI PROMISED THE WORLD \nTicking off their live Australian debut in 2026\, Texas-hailing five-piece I PROMISED THE WORLD will arrive ready to stun this September and October. Born out of a desire to thrive in the face of tragedy\, I PROMISED THE WORLD started life after the father of vocalist/guitarist Caleb Molina lost his life in 2020 due to COVID. \nOfficially forming in 2023\, I PROMISED THE WORLD is both an extension and expression of Molina’s grief\, while also showcasing a cathartic defiance and celebration in the process. With nods to nostalgic sonic terrain woven into their creative DNA\, their most recent full-length—their 2026 self-titled EP—showcased a rebirth of sorts for the group\, while also notably blending screamo\, Midwest emo\, post-hardcore\, and more. Most recently\, I PROMISED THE WORLD supported The Devil Wears Prada across North America.
