SUMMARY:Deafheaven - Perth - with special guests Nothing & Spy - The Rechabite - 18+
DESCRIPTION:Destroy All Lines Presents \nDeafheavenAus ’26with special guests Nothing & Spy \nSunday 5th JulyThe Rechabite\, Perth – 18+Doors 7:00pm \n𝐓𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬: ➟https://daltours.cc/26DEAF-pert \nAmerican black-metal trailblazers Deafheaven announce their biggest Australian tour to date. Presented by Destroy All Lines\, the tour will see them headline some of the country’s most prominent venues across Perth\, Adelaide\, Melbourne\, Sydney\, Newcastle and Brisbane\, joined by special guests Nothing and SPY. \nFormed in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2010\, Deafheaven have spent the past decade and a half pushing at the emotional and sonic boundaries of modern metal. From their debut\, Roads to Judah\, to the genre-defining breakthrough\, Sunbather\, and subsequent records like New Bermuda\, Ordinary Corrupt Human Love\, and Infinite Granite\, Deafheaven have continually redefined the boundaries of heavy music while confronting themes of alienation\, addiction\, family history\, and self-perseverance. \nThe tour follows the release of their 2025 album Lonely People With Power. Their sixth album and first for Roadrunner Records arrived as both a culmination and a reckoning – an album that embraces the band’s full identity after years of evolution. Produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Beck’s go-to bassist and producer of Infinite Granite)\, the record captures Deafheaven’s innate ability to mix and merge melody with brutality\, and pain with poetry.Through reflections on masculinity\, inherited trauma\, family\, and self-perception\, the album grapples with the idea that while we can’t fully escape our past or our nature\, we can choose how we move forward. Ultimately\, Lonely People with Power stands as one of Deafheaven’s most expansive and human statements – an album about confronting isolation while searching for connection\, growth\, and the possibility of redefining one’s destiny. \nThe album\, which was praised by the likes of Pitchfork\, Rolling Stone\, The Line Of Best Fit\, Kerrang and more\, also features Interpol’s Paul Banks and Boy Harsher’s Jae Matthews. \nRevered for their transcendental live shows\, Deafheaven have toured the world over performing at festivals such as Coachella and Primavera Sound\, while sharing stages with everyone from Slipknot and Knocked Loose to Chelsea Wolfe and Mono. They received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Metal Performance and sold out the Odeon in Hobart for Dark Mofo 2023 on their last visit to Australia. \nThey’ll be joined by American shoegaze renegades Nothing\, who have just released A Short History of Decay\, a “fresh and exciting” (Pitchfork) new record from the genre’s pioneers. Nothing’s fifth solo album and first for Run For Cover Records\, widens that aperture even further\, providing the most hi-def rendering of Nothing to date. \nOpeners SPY were formed in Oakland and have carved out their own niche in the modern hardcore landscape. They recorded their most recent EP\, Seen Enough\, with Jack Shirley at Oakland’s Atomic Garden and have fostered a reputation for a ferocious live show. \nDeafheaven return to Australia at their most expansive and unrelenting. Don’t miss the chance to witness one of heavy music’s most boundary-pushing bands at full force. Tickets on sale 7:00 AM local Friday 27 March\, with pre-sale available from 8:00AM AEDT Thursday 26 March.

SUMMARY:Alone but all one tour
DESCRIPTION:Katie Noonan takes Alone but All One on the road for a deeply intimate national tour. In a stripped-back performance of piano and voice\, Katie will share these new songs as they were created\, alongside stories and favourites from across her extraordinary career. Honest\, vulnerable and quietly powerful\, this tour is an invitation to sit in the beauty of stillness and connection — and to remember that even in solitude\, we are never truly alone. \nSupporting Katie on this show will be Australian singer-songwriter Mark Wilkinson\, who has spent over a decade carving out a unique place in the indie folk scene with his evocative song writing and captivating live performances. With over 150 million streams and tens of thousands of records sold independently\, his warm acoustic sound and soulful vocals explore themes of love\, loss and the beauty hidden in everyday moments.

SUMMARY:Love & Trouble
DESCRIPTION:“Love and Trouble” brings together two compelling West Australian songwriters for a shared launch show at Clancy’s Fish Pub Fremantle on 17 July 2026. \nCelebrating his latest release Being Better\, Gary James Benness takes the stage with a full band for a rare live performance. Inspired by his recent journey east to attend the 2026 CMAA Senior Academy in Tamworth\, Benness’ songwriting explores themes of travel\, self-improvement\, and belonging. Blending modern fingerstyle and slide guitar with influences from folk\, country\, and blues traditions\, his performances are heartfelt\, intimate\, and deeply resonant. \nThe evening also marks the launch of Lavender Lover\, the latest single from Midnight Francine. Recorded in Broome at Red Earth Studios\, the track is a dark\, gripping murder ballad that leans into a heavier rock sound\, weaving a story of infidelity\, rage\, and reckoning. Known for her evocative songwriting\, Midnight Francine crafts songs that move between love\, longing\, womanhood\, and lived experience with honesty and intensity. \nWith support from Brainbound\, an up-and-coming indie rock group\, Love and Trouble promises three powerful performances from three exciting bands.

To celebrate\, 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗼𝗼𝗹 will be joined by special guests 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗧 (𝗨𝗞) and 𝗖𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝗺𝗯 (𝗨𝗦𝗔) for an unmissable night of heavy excellence. \nKicking off with a hometown show at the Ice Cream Factory in Perth on July 18\, 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗼𝗼𝗹 will deliver a career spanning set across five capital cities\, winding up at Riverstage in Brisbane on July 25. \nLanding 13 years after its predecessor\, 𝘪𝘯 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘴 is a heavy prog masterpiece that stunned critics and fans who were both quick to forgive the band for the agonisingly long wait. A meticulously crafted\, richly layered yet welcoming journey\, the album is a rare chart-topper that wasn’t built for algorithms or respectable release cycles\, yet it soared straight to #1 on the ARIA Chart\, becoming the first local album to do so in 2026. \nBehind the album’s success is a deeper story about resilience and perseverance. When the bagpipes swell on the album closer 𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘷𝘢\, it’s a real triumphant celebration (and quite the tear jerker online) for the band and fans who have waited 13 years for this moment. 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗼𝗼𝗹’𝘀 next challenge: learning how to deliver live the songs they’ve spent the better part of a decade wrangling into existence. \nJoining 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗼𝗼𝗹 are fellow masters of their craft 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗧. The UK metal titans are widely regarded as pioneers\, expanding metal’s vocabulary beyond all measure with off-kilter riffs\, soaring melodies\, bending grooves and disorientating atmospherics. Over the course of their career\, the band have built a formidable reputation for powerful\, mind-altering live shows and Australian legions came out in force to experience their landmark record\, 𝘸𝘢𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨\, in 2024. \nRounding out this outstanding line-up is New York innovators 𝗖𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝗺𝗯\, bringing their elite chops and maniacal arrangements to Australia for the very first time! 25 years in with a discography almost as lean as 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗼𝗼𝗹’𝘀\, 𝗖𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝗺𝗯 mines the depths of extreme metal to create a signature sound that is as confounding as it is cathartic with evolving polyrhythms\, shifting tempos and deconstructive guitars designed to pulverise all senses live. \nIt’s been over a decade since 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗼𝗼𝗹 have toured a new album and they’ve assembled an elite suite of boundary shattering virtuosos to mark the occasion. Don’t miss this very rare and extraordinary event.

DESCRIPTION:⏰ Pre-sale starts Thu 23 Apr at 9am (local)⏰ General tickets on sale Fri 24 Apr at 9am (local) \n⚡️ Sign up for pre-sale accessPRE-SALE: https://bit.ly/GG26_ps \nHandsome Tours are proud to present Geordie Greep\, the celebrated frontman of Black Midi\, bringing his debut solo album ‘The New Sound’ to Australian stages this July and August! \nThe New Sound is a record that throws open the doors on what happens when there’s no one else in the room to answer to. As he puts it “Music can be so much more than learning to play the same as everybody else. It can be anything you want.” \nThat freedom runs right through the record. A sprawling\, high-quality take on alternative pop that leans into both the absurd and the meticulous. To achieve this ambitious sound\, Greep enlisted over thirty session musicians across two continents. Notably\, half the album was tracked in Brazil with local players\, who reacted purely to the demos\, having no prior knowledge of Greep’s work. \nWith plans to continue working with different musicians in different places\, Greep’s live shows follow the same instinct: no two nights landing the same way. \nThis July and August\, Australian audiences get a first look at The New Sound live.

SUMMARY:The Community Chest "(it's so) Funny (now)" w/ Deep Beep\, Pastel Suburbs and Macho Men
DESCRIPTION:The Community ChestDeep BeepPastel SuburbsMacho Men \nIt’s so) Funny (now) is the first single from a forthcoming mini album by The Community Chest. Despite the upbeat title and catchy\, repetitive melody\, the song hints at loss and regret whilst trying to make light of it retrospectively. Sparce\, yet carefully layered\, “Funny” changes tone from ethereal synth pads and crystal guitar to a jolting middle section of mouth percussion and a broken Korg M700 synth from 1974 to a delicious distorted kraut rock finale – the school gates opening for summer break. \n“Some time ago I took out my old 4-track recorder that all the early Turnstyle stuff was recorded on and set it up in the loungeroom with my guitar plugged straight into it. I sat watching movies with the sound down and just came up with musical sketches and overdubbed over those. I came up with quote a few songs that way. One of them was the tune that become “Funny”. It was originally called Park Slope as a homage to David Berman but I changed it once the lyrics took shape. As usual we recorded the song in loopy layers until we arrived at the main sections. I love how it’s the same thing over and over but just framed differently.” – Adem K
