SUMMARY:LYDIA LUNCH performs the songs of SUICIDE & ALAN VEGA | Milk Bar\, Perth
DESCRIPTION:New York – No Wave Queen\, Lydia Lunch – returns to Australia to perform the songs of synth – punk band\, Suicide and Alan Vega. \nLydia will be joined on stage by Andrew Coates of much loved Melbourne electro trio\, Black Cab to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Alan Vega’s passing + special guests. \nLunch originally met Suicide – the duo of late vocalist Alan Vega and multi-instrumentalist Martin Rev – in the 1970s\, when Lunch moved to New York City from Rochester as a teenager. She formed a lifelong bond with the pair\, often joining them on-stage to perform the song ‘Frankie Teardrop’ and recording a duet as part of Vega’s solo album Sniper. Since Vega’s passing in 2016\, Lunch has performed several Suicide tribute shows\, most often with Marc Hurtado. \nHaving previously never performed the show in Australia\, Lydia surprised fans on a night off in Melbourne during her 2024 Spoken Word tour with an impromptu appearance at the Tote. It sold out in 3 days so she decided to bring it back for Vega’s anniversary in 2026.Passionate\, sexual\, confrontational and bold\, Lunch\, Vega and Rev are all cut from the same grimy cloth of 1970s New York. This show is more than a tribute. It’s an offering.

SUMMARY:CRANBERRY COLLECTIVE - THE CRANBERRIES TRIBUTE | "Everyone Else..." Album Tribute | Rosemount Hotel
DESCRIPTION:Following on from their superb St. Paddy’s Day debut\, the CRANBERRY COLLECTIVE return to the ROSEMOUNT HOTEL in NORTH PERTH on SATURDAY 20 JUNE\, for a tribute to The Cranberries 1993 critically acclaimed classic “EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING IT\, SO WHY CAN’T WE?\, performing the Limmerick legends debut album live & in full including “Linger”\, “Dreams”and “Sunday” and a selection of The Cranberries fan faves! \nCranberry Collective are:Nat Ripepi – Vocals & GuitarNikki Dagostino – Keys & Backing vocalsChris Samakovidis – GuitarMikey Wiegele – BassTimmy Wiegele – Drums \nPlus special guests with special guests POGUE MAHONE – TRIBUTE TO THE POGUES & SALV DI CRISCITO (Solo – Nirvana Unplugged) \nEveryone Else is Doing It\, So Why Can’t We? captured a fledgling band at their best\, refreshingly free of the bombast\, bluster and harshness of some of their later work\, and weaving soft and subtle sonic spells. (Eamon Sweeney\, The Irish Times – 19 October 2018) \nSpurred by the Cranberries’ American success and the re-release of “Dreams” and “Linger” as singles\, by 1994\, the album would hit No. 1 on the charts in the UK. Not since U2 a decade prior had an Irish band inspired such pandemonium. (Quinn Moreland\, pitchfork.(com) – 21 August 2021) \nBy the end of 1995\, Everyone Else is Doing It\, So Why Can’t We? had sold five million copies in the US alone (Eamon Sweeney\, The Irish Times – 19 October 2018) \n“EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING IT\, SO WHY CAN’T WE?CLASSIC ALBUM TRIBUTE performed by CRANBERRY COLLECTIVESATURDAY 20 JUNE | ROSEMOUNT HOTEL\, NORTH PERTHDoors Open 7:30pm – Tickets from Oztix>https://tickets.oztix.com.au/outlet/event/37c3e08e-573a-49f4-81e5-d191afd50efd \nFor all CRANBERRY COLLECTIVE – TRIBUTE TO THE CRANBERRIES show dates and info\, Like/Follow:www.facebook.com/CranberryCollectivePerth

In what will be their biggest ever Australian tour\, 𝗜 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗜𝗟 announce today a national headline arena run joined by special guests 𝗜𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 and 𝗜𝗡𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗘. \nSet to commence on Sunday 14 June in Perth\, the 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 Australian tour will see 𝗜 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗜𝗟 roar through Adelaide\, Melbourne and Brisbane\, before concluding on Tuesday 23 June in Sydney. \nSince forming in Detroit\, Michigan back in 2013\, 𝗜 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗜𝗟’s trajectory has been nothing short of staggering. Amassing critical and commercial success for well over a decade\, 𝗜 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗜𝗟’s success story spans everything from millions of streams through to mainstream chart domination\, unforgettable performances across the globe\, and two 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐘 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝-nominations for good measure. \nAchieving gold status in both the US and Canada via their debut 2016 album 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴\, their 2019 full-length 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘶𝘮𝘢 further cemented their status as one of the most elite forces on the scene\, with the album itself nominated for 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐮𝐦 at the 2019 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐘 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬\, as well as single 𝘣𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 in contention for 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞. 2022’s 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 again expanded the band’s extensive reach on defying expectations and genre confines\, and in 2025 𝗜 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗜𝗟 ascended yet again with the release of 𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦; album #4 and an entirely new era for the band that is equal parts intense\, passionate and energetic. \nSelf-produced alongside bassist and keyboardist 𝗝𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱\, 𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 ticked off multiple firsts for 𝗜 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗜𝗟\, from the band recording in a professional studio for the first time in 10 years through to it also being the first album to feature vocalist 𝗘𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗵𝗲 as the only singer\, taking on both clean and unclean vocal duties throughout. Described by 𝗞𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴! as “the most honest record I Prevail have given us in their quick rise”\, 𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 sonically crushes and soul-searches\, while also showcasing 𝗜 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗜𝗟’s exceptional dexterity and passion that has seen them perform as headliners\, alongside 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝗻 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲\, 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗶𝗹\, 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺\, and 𝗙𝗶𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗔 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴\, and also on stages across Australia\, including an acclaimed headline run in 2022 and\, most recently\, at 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 in 2023. \nReturning after an entirely sold out headline Australian run in 2025\, Swedish violincore sensations 𝗜𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 are no strangers to wowing crowds with their unique take on alternative metalcore. Forging classical string arrangements with undertones of Scandinavian metal\, 𝗜𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘’s trajectory over the past decade has spanned millions of streams and online followers\, several bewitching albums\, performances at some of the biggest heavy festivals on the planet\, and entirely sold out shows of their own. Whether sharing stages with the likes of 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻\, 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 and 𝗜𝗻 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀\, or stupefying on Australian stages at 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 and their own sold out headline crowds\, the elegant ferocity of 𝗜𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 is an enduring experience; and one definitely not to be missed. \nChanneling the uncertainties of the world into a sonic universe that unites and offers powerful catharsis\, American metalcore act 𝗜𝗡𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗘 have spent over 10 years cultivating a sound and community centred around empathy and articulation. Releasing their debut full-length 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 in 2014\, the group most recently unveiled their fourth full length\, 2023’s 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳\, as well as a collab 2025 EP 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘮 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯 with 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁. Fusing ambient metalcore\, djent and prog\, 𝗜𝗡𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗘’s live performances are also the stuff of legend\, with their dynamic sets finding beauty in chaos and ultimately leading them to sharing stages over the years with 𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗔\, 𝗔𝗹𝗽𝗵𝗮 𝗪𝗼𝗹𝗳\, 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹\, 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲 and\, on their most recent Australian visit\, with 𝗪𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗔𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 in 2023. \nIn 2026\, violent delights will take full flight when 𝗜 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗜𝗟 take Australian stages by storm. Mark your calendars for June\, this is not to be missed!

SUMMARY:The Awakenings Ensemble | Live at Freo Social
DESCRIPTION:The Awakenings Ensemble\, Western Australia’s internationally performing world music group\, returns to Perth for one night only on Sunday June 14 at Freo.Social\, Fremantle – the first local performance since completing a six-city Asia tour that saw sell-out shows across Beijing\, Shanghai\, Hong Kong and Singapore. \nThe April tour delivered beyond all expectations. Perth sold out five days ahead of the performance. Both Singapore nights sold out. Beijing and Shanghai were full houses. The ensemble performed at some of Asia’s most iconic venues – Blue Note Beijing\, JZ Club Shanghai\, Salon No.10 Hong Kong and Blu Jaz Singapore – and was immediately invited to return to the JZ Festival in Shanghai\, one of Asia’s most prominent jazz events. A live recording made during the tour is being prepared for release as an album later this year. \nThe Awakenings Ensemble brings together five exceptional musicians from Australia\, Iran and Lebanon\, performing original music that weaves Persian and Middle Eastern instruments – ney\, daff\, oud – with contemporary jazz. Founded in 2011 by Perth drummer and pianist Michael Pignéguy\, the ensemble has built a reputation for performances that are as musically rigorous as they are accessible – music that crosses cultures without losing its identity. \nThe June 14 show at Freo.Social will be the first opportunity for Perth audiences to experience the ensemble in the wake of the Asia tour. Tickets are available now. \n” We came home from this tour with a renewed sense of what this music can do and who it can reach. Bringing that back to Perth – to the audiences who have supported us from the beginning – feels like the right way to close this chapter before we start planning what comes next. ” – Michael Pignéguy\, Artistic Director\, The Awakenings Ensemble

SUMMARY:The Whitlams with West Australian Symphony Orchestra | Riverside Theatre\, WA
DESCRIPTION:The Whitlams joins the West Australian Symphony Orchestra in a performance of their renowned symphonic collaboration on Saturday 13 June. The show debuted in 2004 at Kings Park\, and has developed in style and complexity as new albums have been released. \nThis retrospective will see WASO share centre stage\, playing a wide palate of styles written by many of Australia’s finest composers. Notably\, Tim Freedman’s friendship with the late Peter Sculthorpe is marked by two gorgeous arrangements. \nClassic compositions including “No Aphrodisiac” and “Blow Up the Pokies” will be joined by highlights of The Whitlams’ 2020s resurgence with songs from the two recent albums\, “Sancho” (2022)\, and Americana influenced\, “Kookaburra” (2024). \n“…the kind of arrangements which assume intelligence not just on stage but in the audience. It’s wit and risk and flair.” Sydney Morning Herald \n“…superbly orchestrated with a sophistication of sound rare in a pop gig.” The Age
