DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the next generation of jazz talent at the Progressions Showcase\, featuring inspiring performances by young musicians of marginalised genders. \nAfter eight weeks of intensive workshops\, these emerging artists take the stage to share classic jazz repertoire alongside original works developed throughout the program. Guided by Artistic Director Gemma Farrell and a team of leading Perth jazz mentors\, participants are supported to deepen their musicianship\, strengthen their ensemble skills and build confidence in their creative voice. \nProgressions is about more than performance – it’s about representation\, opportunity and building pathways within the jazz community.
