This is our LAST show in Perth before we move to Melbourne, and your last chance to see us for the foreseeable future! Much love from us all, we thank you so much for everyone’s support over the last year and a bit xx
Launching our latest single, “Find Me” at Mojos on December 8th, supported by Georga Raath and Symmetrical Dogs! Playing an earlier evening show to accommodate for all.
The upcoming single “Find Me”, reminiscent of a fellow Australian artist, Nick Cave, in earlier days and Roland S Howard; carries the flame from their last release “A Town by the Sea”, with Red Moon Cowboy’s folkloric storytelling, constructing a dark and eerie mood that captivates with sharp and unsettling guitar parts. “Find Me”, is a love-song gone wrong; the feeling of self pity and guilt, in the face of failed relationships, with an ending that satisfies with cathartic ‘car-yelling’ payoff.
Red Moon Cowboy (RMC), are a unique and mystifying group (reminiscent of artists like Nick Cave, Radio Free Alice and Wunderhorse), raised in the old whaling town Albany, Western Australia, carving their own voice through folkloric and deeply intimate storytelling, characterised by their longing and deep emotional intensity. With the release of RMC’s single ‘Rome’, they captured a short form, ultra simplified version of their poetic and atmospheric spirit, which resonated across Australia, with a huge launch at sold out 700 capacity Festival in Denmark Western Australia: Red Gum Pass Festival, headlined by RMC. “One of the sickest sounds coming out of WA right now. Chaotic energy, lots of passion” – Claire Mooney.
