Paper Tiger brings together three of Australia’s most accomplished jazz musicians to create music of dazzling originality and innovation.
With 🎷 Jamie Oehlers on saxophone, 🎸 Steve Magnusson on guitar and 🥁 Ben Vanderwal on drums, Paper Tiger is a trio that surpasses the sum of its already significant parts!
This performance will launch the trio’s second album ‘Between the Lines of Stillness’ – a decade after its first self-titled album.
These musicians share a passion for stretching musical boundaries and their interplay in improvisation creates an adventurous combination of intricate melodies, rhythmic textures, and tonal variation in every performance.
