This one-night-only event is set to showcase Angieโs raw, captivating vocals and rich, genre-blending style thatโs earned her accolades, including multiple WAM Awards and recognition as a Triple J Unearthed Feature Artist.
Colman’s brand new single, Out of the Headlights is a haunting exploration of vulnerability, resilience, and finding direction again. The song captures the feeling of being lost, untrusting, and emotionally frozen, until an encounter with someone whose unwavering kindness brings a newfound sense of wholeness. With lush, layered instrumentation and evocative lyricism, Angie Colman brings this journey of self-realization and healing to life in a way that feels both deeply personal and universally relatable.
This show is in conjunction with the magical work of Tender is the Night, a seasonal series pairing WA’s finest songwriters with the Tender Strings Quartet in an unforgettable evening as songs are reimagined and performed live with exquisite arrangements by Western Australian composers. Produced and curated by artist Leigh Gardiner, Tender is the Night is an opportunity to discover new music and enjoy your favourite performers in an intimate show as soundscapes unfold before you.
