After 21 years and six albums, local legendary indie rockers Eskimo Joe are set to celebrate in an extravagant affair alongside the West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO) with a world premiere performance at Perth Concert Hall on Friday, February 23, 2018.
The distinctive tones of a band that has experienced a stellar career touches on vastly different tastes from electro-synth-grooves to alternative-rock and in the process has amounted to international acclaim and an ever-expanding fan base. From conquering the US, Canada, Europe and Korea dishing up classic hit after hit, Eskimo Joe have savoured the full flavours of success and will return home to share their gratitude for the incredible ride.
“I can’t wait to be standing in front of the full WA Symphony Orchestra beside my musical brothers as we journey back through the last 21 years. It will be a concert with something for everyone and I truly hope you can all make it,” says guitarist Stu MacLeod.
The performance is set to be a nostalgic throwback and a celebration of some homegrown heavyweight legends of Australian music intertwined with expert brilliance of the West Australian Symphony Orchestra. Tickets go on sale from Monday 14th, August from WASO for a milestone evening to simply enjoy the rich edges of Perth music.
