Duck Teeth launch debut EP ‘Jump the Shark’

Following the release of their first single Boring in 2019 and a long chill between drinks, Perth rockers Duck Teeth are back with their debut EP Jump the Shark. The band will celebrate the launch with a live show at The Bird on Friday, September 15 with support from Fool Nelson, Grunge Barbie and Hunk.

In 2022, the boys from Duck Teeth jumped into the studio to work alongside old friend and producer Dave Parkin. The collaboration resulted in a ‘kinda live’ EP, capturing the band’s raw live energy while maintaining the polished and refined sound recognisable as a Blackbird Sound Studio release. From the simple and infectious hooks of lead single Blah to the sweet introspection of Axolotl, each of Jump the Shark‘s seven tracks offers a distinct experience.
