Experience the Magic of Studio Ghibli on 35mm Film at a One-of-a-Kind Festival at the Como Theatre
The Preston St Arts Collective and Revival House Perth are proud to announce an upcoming Studio Ghibli Film Festival, a celebration of the enchanting world of Studio Ghibli. This extraordinary event will showcase 15 iconic films from the legendary Japanese animation studio, with all screenings presented on 35mm film for an authentic cinematic experience.
Running from 21st November to 8th December The Festival will take place at the Como Theatre, offering a rare opportunity for fans to see these beloved films as they were meant to be seen—on the big screen and in their original Japanese language with English subtitles. For those who prefer to experience the magic of Studio Ghibli in English, select dubbed screenings will also be available.
From Hayao Miyazaki’s timeless masterpieces like My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away to beloved favourites like Princess Mononoke and Howl’s Moving Castle, the lineup is a treasure trove of imaginative storytelling that appeals to both young and old.
