Northern Blues and Roots WA are proud to present the (belated) Winter Blues Fest 2019, starring an array of the best West Aussie blues artists at The Wanneroo Tavern on Sunday, September 22, from 12pm to 10pm. To get more info or to buy tickets head to the Winter Blues Fest Facebook Page.
With over 10 different acts on two stages, blues fans can look forward to 10 hours of continuous music from some of the stalwarts of the local blues scene along with emerging artists set to carry the blues genre flame into the future.
From 12 noon catch Empire Blues Duo on the Acoustic stage followed by Midnight Sun (Kat Kinley and Jason Smith), Night Herons (Pete Romano and Paul Daly), Simon Cox, Fiona and Steve Garde Duo, Natural Boogie (Chook and Jorma), Richie Pavledis and Lez Karski.
The bands on the Main Band stage include 13 year old teen sensation The Louis Rebeiro Trio, Michael, Miss Peta Lee and the Vibrolators (pictured), Diamond Dave and the Doodaddies, The Cathy Earl Band performing the Beth Hart Songbook, On the Level, The Trevor Jalla Band and Big Town Players.
