With more than 15,000 early-bird tickets snapped up in just a few weeks, the Make Smoking History Canning Show is set for a record-breaking community celebration like no other. There’s two nights of fireworks and two days packed with fun for all on Friday, November 1 from 5-10pm, and Saturday, November 2 from 9am-10pm at the Canning Exhibition Centre and Showgrounds.
The Show’s attractions this year includes live music from Landslide, playing the very best of Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles, festive music ranging from DJs to hip hop, an Indigenous choir to roving carnival big bands. Patrons can also stroll down Buskers Lane which highlights local talent, from puppet shows to singer-songwriters.
There’s also over a dozen food trucks set to take your taste buds on a global gourmet tour and The West Coast Lego User Group (responsible for the wildly successful Bricktober) offering fantastical displays, interactive building and competitions for all to enter.
Farmland offers plenty of new friends to meet, including pony rides and plays with alpacas, goats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, lambs, piglets, a dog and roving sheep live, plus camel rides.
