The Bible Bashers are launching their second EP Rise Hard hard in Fremantle tomorrow night, Friday December 8 at The Fly By Night with support from The Painkillers, The Volcanics, Last Quokka, Chickspit and Les Sataniques.
The Bible Bashers are famous for delivering audacious, no-prisoners live performances and this time they’ve spiced up their gigs by recruiting impromptu choirs and female backup dancers (The Bashettes) to join them on stage. They have even gone so far as to hand out their own currency (Bash Cash) and print their own ‘Prayer Book’, featuring Bashers’ lyrics, artwork, and comics. They have rubbed shoulders with acts like such as The Damned, Bog Log III, Hits, The Mis-Made, Fireballs, X, Six Ft Hick and The Stabs.
It’s been a whirlwind year of touring with the band taking their freak show to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, the latter where the band recorded their barn-stormin’ sophomore EP titled Rise Hard. The Perth launch will be at Amplifier Bar on December 22nd.
