WE LOST THE SEA Triumph and Disaster live

Cinematic Sydney band We Lost The Sea have announced a long-awaited national headline tour, hitting The Sewing Room on Friday, November 29. The six-piece are touring in support of their new album Triumph & Disaster (out October 1), and will be joined by Perth’s own Tangled Thoughts of Leaving, who they played alongside on their last visit supporting Russian Circles.

Formed in 2007, We Lost The Sea’s creative evolution, sometimes tragic history and live energy around relentless crushing guitars together with post rock atmospherics and melody has given them cult status amongst fans.

The band describe Triumph & Disaster as “a post-apocalyptic view on the collapse of the world told like a children’s story,” where, “the words tell the story of love, loss and letting go.”

Triumph & Disaster is out October 1. We Lost The Sea play The Sewing Room on Friday, November 29. Tickets from moshtix.com.au
