WAM have released the huge program for WAMFest 2017 so punters can start planning their weekend. They have also announced the annual Kiss My WAMi CD compilation. The CD includes 37 tracks from by West Australian acts from the last year.
This years WAMFest program outlines all of the WAM happenings, from the Opening Party, to the huge Live Friday and Live Saturday showcases, as well the regional showcases and Live Sunday events. It is the go to guide for all things WAMFest this year, and even includes a handy map to aide the discovery of excellent new West Australian music. Check it out HERE.
The Kiss My WAMi compilation features 12 WAMAward nominated acts, and 31 acts playing WAMFest 2017 events, as well as 10 acts that are both nominated for WAMAwards and playing WAMFest events, with Sydnee Carter, FOAM, Rag N’ Bone, BOAT SHOW and Beni Bjah playing Live Saturday; Carla Geneve, Stella Donnelly and John Bennett with David Hyams playing over multiple events; FEELS and Daniel Susnjar Afro-Peruvian Jazz Group playing the Opening and WAMAwards Parties respectively.
