WAM are asking artists who have released a single, album, EP, LP or video from October 1, 2017 or artists who will be releasing a single, album, EP, LP or video before September 30, 2018 to register their activity on the WAM site to help inform the WAMAward Nominators.
The information gathered from the form will be provided to WAMAward Nominators to remind and inform them of activity occurring between October 1, 2017 and September 30, 2018. The form will also help to inform the nominations by gathering data on band members, bookers, producers, managers and more relating to each act and remind the nominators of who is actively working in the industry as a musician or industry representative.
To be eligible, artists must have been residents of WA during the period, have had significant activity during the period, and create and/or perform a majority of original works of music or work in relevant industry.
