Not a week goes by in this city without some brilliant shows happening in one place or another (or many!). Here are our top picks for the week of Thursday, June 21 to Thursday, June 28.
1. Local launches
Launches this week include Mal de Mer at Four5Nine, Lincoln Mackinnon & the Wrecking Train at The Odd Fellow (soon to become The Aardvark), Black Stone from the Sun at Badlands Bar and The Kramers at Mojos Bar. These gigs will also feature a bunch of Perth’s rising stars in support.
2. Skegss
The Byron Bay surfie boys are hitting Perth with a double whammy of shows on Friday, June 22, one of which being a under-18s matinee. See them at the Rosemount Hotel.
3. Eden
Irish EDM king Eden is hitting up Amps on Tuesday, June 25 as part of his Vertigo world tour.
4. Playlist: Featuring Wulfe, Tanaya Harper, Chloe Buchanan and Ghost Care
Playlist is a showcase night curated by upcoming electronic artist Wulfe. This show sees another bunch of talented locals take to the Four5Nine stage next Wednesday, June 27.

5. Best F(r)iends screening w/ Greg Sestero
Greg Sestero of The Room fame is back in Perth for the second time in months to accompany fans at Luna Leederville‘s first screening of his new film Best F(r)iends, also starring Tommy Wiseau. The room is bound to be packed so get in quick.
