TOOL Teasing a Perth tour date?

Tool fans in Australia and New Zealand are in meltdown after a mysterious video was released suggesting the art-metal legends may be on their way down under. The video, posted on Frontier Touring‘s Facebook page this morning was not exactly forthcoming with details and the four piece were not named, but there was enough evidence to make fans dare to dream.

The video which simply plays the words “Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Auckland…February 2020,” upside down, has already amassed over 10,000 views. Observers have been quick to point out the video uses the same typeface of Tool’s album Fear Inoculum, which was released in August. The post was also accompanied by the hashtag #FollowTheEvidenceAUNZ.

Check out the video below yourself and make up your own mind:

If this does turn out to be a tour announce for Tool, it will be their first time in Australia since 2013.
