Theatre Puppets

Meat PuppetsAfter a 20-year break from live shows, The Meat Puppets are set to embark on an Australian tour. The band – most famous for their seminal influence over Kurt Cobain – are an uncompromising rock act in their own right. Touring in support of last year’s release Rat Farm, they’ll be performing at the Astor Theatre on Monday, June 2. Replacing drummer Derrick Bostrom will be Sandon Sahm, and the line-up will include guitarist, Curt Kirkwood’s son, Elmo Kirkwood. Tickets are available through liveattheastor.com.au.
