Fresh from supporting Spiderbait at Metro City last weekend, all girl punk & blues four-piece The Tommyhawks launch their latest single Bedroom at Mojos in North Freo this Friday night.

Bedroom explores the vulnerability of the mind. It is about finding the place between childhood and adulthood that certain things might have broken, and other things have healed.
Together for barely three years The Tommyhawks have played over 20 festivals across the country and are renowned for their thrilling and explosive live performances. There’s a sweet spot between rollicking folk melodies and punk- infused blues, and The Tommyhawks have found it.
Lead singer Addison Axe (also of Axe Girl) is joined by dark sax harmonies, home-made electric mandolin, a super-tight rhythm (including Jebediah’s Vanessa Thornton) and a contagious onstage presence.
