STORMIE MILLS Bunny Love this Easter

Stormie

Internationally acclaimed artist Stormie Mills will be showcasing his iconic pink bunny this Easter at Garden City shopping centre from April 7 – 23.

The four metre high bunny first appeared at the Brisbane International Arts Festival in 2013 before hopping off to Sculpture By The Sea, gathering widespread attention and taking out the Kid’s Choice Award.

The Garden City installation aims to celebrate the point where art meets commerce and will bring a new perspective and experience to traditional Easter celebrations.

In addition to the artwork on display, nine bunny motifs will be hidden around Garden City, with clues of their whereabouts released via social media in the ultimate Bunny Hide N’ Seek.

The installation is aimed at kids and adults alike. Brisbane Festival Director, Noel Staunton stated…

“One of the great things about this installation is that a child can see one thing and an adult can see something different. However, they will both share a common experience.”

8 – 17 April · Bunny Hide N’ Seek – An Easter hunt with a difference. The tradition of the Easter hunt dates back to the 15th century. Now Garden City is bringing the hunt into 2017, follow the centre on social media for your chance to win.

18 – 23 April · Design your own Bunny – Young artists will be given the opportunity to channel their inner Stormie Mills and design their own Bunny. To celebrate and welcome their giant pink guest, Garden City are giving kids the chance to decorate and take home their own free mini bunny.
