The folks who brought you Winterland – the iceskating extravaganza held in the Cultural Centre last July – now offer to you Slidestreet, a 315 metre pop-up inflatable water slide, as long as two AFL ovals back-to-back, offering adrenalin-pumping, slip-sliding fun. Sponsored by City of Perth, Slidestreet will take over the western end of St Georges Terrace on Sunday, December 14, and will also feature a pop-up bar, food trucks, refreshing icy summer treats, DJs and much more. Spectators are encouraged to head down and check out the action.
