Rhetoric is Perth’s premier Synthwave, Chiptune and Arcade Game night. Live performances incorporating all sorts of retro electro sounds, experimental custom modded gear, tech noir visuals, cheap drinks and free retro console games all night!
After a short hiatus with the closing of Rhetoric’s original Raine Square location in Game City, they’re back for the 10th edition of this monthly night, in a new temporary home at Nostalgia Box in Northbridge – Perth’s only console museum and retro gaming centre.
To celebrate the 10th event and new location, they’ve assembled a stellar lineup of live acts including, the etheral electronica of Lana, soulful sounds of Kopano, darker tech style of Jeology, Rhetoric regular Classic Mistake banging out grimey Gameboy beats and resident DJs Amnesia and Trebt playing Synthwave, Retro Wave, Chip Tune, Cyber Punk and other bleeps and beats. The fun kicks off this Friday from 6pm till midnight at The Nostalgia Box.
