After their huge headline slot at WAMFest Lot Party, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets have announced that they have joined east coast bookers the 123 Agency, home to a host of Australia’s hottest bands, and have also announced a new single and a new tour, including their own festival, going down at The Rosemount Hotel on Saturday, December 23.
Dr. Noggin Floggin & the Cosmic Toothbrush Festival features the Crumpets themselves, along with The Southern River Band, FOAM, Kitchen People, Great Gable, Demon Days, Soukouss International, Moana, Ruby May, Candy Guts, Marmalde Mama and DIY Rainclouds.
Following rave reviews for their albums High Visceral Part One and Part Two, the Crumpets have announced a High Visceral B-Side vinyl, including new single Little Moon.
“The idea of the track was based around the opening riff…. to write a modulating verse that increased in tempo that made the song always feel like it was constantly rising. I wrote so many alternate parts that had the initial song around 10 minutes that we eventually compressed into 3:30,” says the band of the new single.
Little Moon is out this Friday, November 10. Dr. Noggin Floggin & the Cosmic Toothbrush Festival hits The Rosemount Hotel on Saturday, December 23.
