PERTH ONE80 New all ages venue opens in Morley

A new all-ages venue has just opened in Perth’s northern suburbs, and has announced an exciting program of events to look forward to in the coming months. Perth One80, at 133 Russell Street, Morley offers a much-needed destination for Perth’s youth to experience great local entertainment in a safe and positive environment, with something for everyone. Best of all, it’s free entry!

This Thursday, August 22, it’s an edition of EDM Thursdays with two shows on the one night, hosted by Solidstate and other local hip-hop groups. On Saturday, August 24 a variety of local alt-rock, pop and hip-hop acts will be performing for Live and Local Night.

If you think you’ve got talent, you can sign up for Morley’s Got Talent on Saturday, August 31, which will be hosted in the spirit of Australia’s Got Talent, making it a great opportunity for local musicians, actors and other performers to showcase their skills.

On Saturday, September 21 the venue will welcome UK artist Steve Gabriel, performing a blend of RnB, soul and reggae music.

Venue curator Daniel Villani says Perth One80 is a welcoming environment for everyone, with plenty more events in the pipeline. “You’ll experience diverse music genres here, with all kinds of people of all ages,” he said. “We have international artists booked in this year and will be hosting many next year too. We’re also planning a ‘Halloween Zombie Café’ for the venue too so there’s lots to look forward to!”

Perth One80 is set to host a variety of events on a weekly basis, starting with EDM Thursdays and a Live and Local Night this week. For more information about Perth’s new all-ages venue head to perthone80.com.
