PEPPER JANE To play Perth this week

PepperJane

Queensland singer-songwriter Pepper Jane hits Perth this week for her Revisited tour.

Since making her first single Keys available on physical copy, Pepper Jane has been racking up the frequent flyer points with a series of shows right across Australia. Her uniquely honest approach to songwriting has been rewarded with passionate fans and intrigued audiences wherever she takes the stage. The Toowoomba songstress brings a rich folk narrative and warm alt-country guitar textures everywhere she goes. Whether it be in the theatre, the local live-music bar or busking on the street corner, her songs have garnered the attention and imagination of those listening.

Pepper Jane cites her major influences as Jeff Buckley and Katie Noonan which is evident in her captivating vocal delivery.  She is also often described by others as sounding like The Waifs or Missy Higgins. The Revisited tour comes ahead of her ambitious double debut album which is due to come out in May. The aptly titled Released will be recorded live in front of an audience as part of the Anywhere Theatre Festival in Brisbane. Pepper Jane has described her vision as a “cabaret concept album”, and can not wait to do another run of shows across the country to support it later this year.

Last year Pepper Jane focused her WA tour on regional tourist towns like Exmouth and Coral Bay, but this time shares her sounds in some of Perth’s most iconic venues. Be sure to catch her in this limited run of special performances:
