MISSY HIGGINS & PETE MURRAY Stars to light up Denmark

Some of Australia’s most beloved songwriters will hit the stage in the lush countryside of Denmark next year as Missy Higgins, Pete Murray and William Crighton perform under the stars at Castelli Estate on Saturday, March 5, 2022.

Missy Higgins is known for her irresistible melodies and heartfelt lyrics, delivered with a voice as striking as it is sincere. Her debut album The Sound Of White won ARIA Album Of The Year in 2004, with hit songs Scar, Ten Days and The Special Two enjoying national and international airplay. The follow-up, On A Clear Night featured Australian chart-topping single Steer, and Higgins has kept up a quality output of music ever since. Higgins has appeared twice on the cover of Australia’s Rolling Stone magazine, has topped the charts five times and has nine ARIA Awards to her name.

Pete Murray’s debut album, the roots/rock infused Feeler (2003), sold 6 x platinum in Australia and earned 12 ARIA Award nominations, spending over two and a half years in the Top 100. Pete Murray released his anticipated new EP, The Night, in March 2021, and new single Hold Me Steady last month, demonstrating the longstanding quality of his songwriting and ability to win new fans two decades into his career.

Riverina-bred singer songwriter, William Crighton, combines traditional music with experimentation. From sell out shows to festival highlights at Blues Fest, WOMAD and Woodford Folk Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival and more, his live show has been received to high acclaim across the world.

Missy Higgins, Pete Murray and William Crighton play Castelli Estate in Denmark on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Tickets are on sale Saturday, December 11 from ticketmaster.com.au
