MARK LANEGAN Psychedelic gargoyle

In celebration of his tenth solo studio album Gargoyle, The Screaming Trees frontman Mark Lanegan is taking it for a spin across Australia this September.

Gargoyle, written with Rob Marshall and Alain Johannes, is described as having “psychedelic” tendencies and “cheery vocals”—perhaps a surprising thing to come from such an established grunge musician.

Nevertheless, he is bound to impress both newcomers and devotees alike after over thirty years of music industry success.

Though there are sadly no Perth dates as of yet, Lanegan will be hitting the stage at Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom, Brisbane’s The Triffid and Sydney’s Factory Theatre.
