KALAMUNDA CHILLI FESTIVAL Some like it hot


Kalamunda Chilli Festival
 is set to turn up the heat at Stir Park in Kalamunda this weekend, in a fun and family-friendly celebration of spice on Saturday, February 15 and Sunday, February 16.

Apart from having all the usual stalls bursting with hot and spicy delights, chilli fans can also look forward to checking out the cooking stage, and enjoying the many samples being given out. In a treat for the ears as well as the tongue, there will also be live music with adult solo acts and bands performing on Saturday while Sunday’s music will feature only acts under the age of 16.

There will be food trucks, hot sauce, chilli sauce, chilli fudge and many more gourmet delights to sample and buy including plants and growing advice to start your very own chilli garden. There are also fantastic trophies to be won such as the “First Place KCF Assassin” for chilli eating competitions and more.

This year Kalamunda Chilli Festival have also ensured they have the kids covered with a pirates and mermaids theme, and much more to keep them entertained such as face painting, bubbleology, storytime and crafts, plus a pirate ship jumpy castle and rock climbing.
