HOT CHIP VENDING MACHINES HEADED OUR WAY

In a development sure to worry late night kebab vendors across the land, a Perth company is developing a hot chip vending machine and expects to have working models in the field by the end of the year.

As reported by the ABC, for the past five years the Hot Chips Company has been working in conjunction with WA potato outfit Bendotti Exporters to prefect the machines. Four different models are being tested in Perth and Adelaide right now, with the machines capable of turning internally stored frozen chips into a hot cup of starchy goodness in about two and a half minutes. The aim is to reduce cooking time to two minutes before the wide roll-out.

As connoisseurs of late night post-gig convenience dining, X-Press will be watching the Hot Chips Company’s progress closely. More news as it emerges.
