How good is it to have an all new local music venue in the heart of Mount Lawley? Grumpy’s Music Bar is set to be a place all local lovers of music will be visiting on the reg. Taking over space which used to be occupied by the Defectors Bar upstairs at the Flying Scotsman, this new spin on the old haunt is modelled on some of WA’s best local venues including Mojos and The Bird, and there are some delightful gigs coming up this week.
On Friday you can head down to Grumpy’s and get some inspiring environmental punk from Last Quokka, along with Grunge Barbie, The Mascara Snakes (pictured), Nikki de Campe and Angie Colman. The bands start at 8pm and tickets are only $10.
Then The Bible Bashers are headlining the show this Saturday, June 29, and support comes from SHAUS and Moonlight Wranglers. Once again tickets are a steal, so watch this holy trinity of bands for only $10. Starts at 8pm. See you there!
