Rosemount Hotel is set to celebrate the re-launch of four5nine on Friday, October 1. In a fitting return for the much-loved live music venue, four5nine REVIVAL will showcase an exciting mix of local acts including Tash Marie, Hush Puppy, Spici Water, and Weekenda.
As Rosemount Hotel resumes booking shows in the space, the special event is also an opportunity for guests to meet Venue Bookers and Booking Agents, building valuable connections in the local music community. The event kicks off at 5.30pm and under 18s are permitted with a parent/guardian accompanying them.
Rosemount Hotel Programming & Communications Manager Sinead O’Hara said the venue was excited to give emerging bands the chance to meet Perth-based venue bookers and booking agents. “It’s a great opportunity for new bands to meet bookers from notable Perth venues such as The Bird, The Sewing Room, The Rechabite plus heaps more – and, of course, yours truly Rosemount Hotel – as well as independent WA Booking Agents and Promoters,” she said. “Yes, we will be putting on a little bar tab for this,” she added. “So get down early!”
Four5nine REVIVAL comes after 18 months of COVID-19 disruptions which has seen the space largely closed since March 2020. Even at half capacity, four5nine was not able to operate due to the outgoing production and staffing costs involved in hosting events. Rosemount Hotel were buoyed this year by a grant from Live Music Australia, which helped them get four5nine back and running at full capacity.
Four5nine in North Perth, nestled inside the iconic Rosemount Hotel, is famous for championing live, original music with a hundred capacity band room and has been a platform for many emerging and seasoned musicians and performing artists throughout its years.
Four5nine has acted as an incubation hub for emerging local acts and provided room for national artists touring to Perth in their early career, with names like Julia Jacklin, Marlon Williams, SKEGSS, Jess Locke and countless more having graced its stages.
