EVERCLEAR Dreaming of the west coast

Portland, Oregon 90s alt-rock stars Everclear have announced an Australian headline tour to coincide with their appearance at the Hotter than Hell festival in Dunsborough, hitting Freo.Social on Thursday, February 20 and The Carine Tavern on Friday, February 21.

The tour is the first time the band have played in Australia since 2017, when they were here celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 1997 album So Much for the Afterglow. It also marks the first time they’ve toured since frontman Art Alexakis revealed his diagnosis with multiple sclerosis.

Formed in Portland in 1991, Everclear rose to worldwide fame with their second and third albums Sparkle and Fade and So Much for the Afterglow, and in particular the breakthrough singles Santa Monica and Heroin Girl.

Everclear play Freo.Social on Thursday, February 20, Carine Tavern on Friday, February 21 and Hotter Than Hell at the Dunsborough Tavern on Saturday, February 22.
