Award-winning jazz group Adam Hall and the Soul Playboys will be live on stage at The Sewing Room, Perth for the Soul-Charity series on Saturday 20th October 2018 at 6-10pm with proceeds going to Solaris Cancer Care to assist those affected by cancer in Western Australia.

Presented by The Cycling Development Foundation (CDF), Veris Racing Team (cycling), and Solaris Cancer Care, Adam will take the audience on a journey through the music of his contemporaries: the masters of Funk and Soul Music, making this a night of music to remember.

“Adam has a great following and is incredibly philanthropic so he unhesitatingly agreed to perform when I asked him,” said Brad Hall, Managing Director of Veris Racing. “It’s hard to say ‘no’ to your own brother anyway,” he added.

“The event will be supported by many cyclists from the Veris Racing Team fraternity so it’s set to be a very lively night.”

“It’s great that both entities: music and sport, can join in a night of music and dance, giving back to the community by helping those who suffer or have been affected by cancer,” Brad concluded.

Famous for his velvet vocals and amazing jazz trumpet playing, Adam will be on top form having just returned from a world tour including Europe and America.

Evocative songs from Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Marvin Gaye and the modern music of Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars and Pharrell Williams will give the audience plenty of opportunity to have a dance.

A full horn section is included in the line-up – set to blow the roof off The Sewing Room right in the heart of Perth.

So get your dancing shoes on and “shake your groovy thang!” Tickets are $39 and part proceeds from the night will be donated to Solaris Cancer Care, assisting Western Australians living with cancer.
