Be sure you get down to Bar 120 in Hillarys on April 7 from 6.00pm 10.00pm for the City of Joondalup’s annual Defeat the Beat youth music competition. The event showcases the finest young talent from the city and surrounds and is sure to get your weekend off to a rocking start!
Defeat the Beat is a fully supervised drug, alcohol and smoke-free event for 13-17 year olds coinciding with National Youth Week 2017. Come and witness six local finalists battle it out for the share of great prizes including studio recording time, gift vouchers for Joondalup Music, a photo-shoot and more.
