He’s synonymous with Perth community radio station RTRFM, but that is set to change with the announcement that beloved local media icon Peter Barr is retiring from his post as breakfast presenter.
Barr has spent 10 years as solo presenter on the AM slot, following two years as co-presenter with Mark Genge. All up, Barr has spent two decades at the station since starting as a volunteer back in 1994. He plans to continue in a part time capacity as Talks Producer. A new morning presenter has yet to be announced.
