Mad Mex asked X-Press to put together a team to take on their 1 kilo Burrito Challenge. And what a team we had. Featuring LFL Offensive lineman Lindsay Holland, Perth Roller Derby’s gave us their veteran skater Weapon of Ass Destruction, and finishing up this powerhouse trio was 4 time EPW champion Marcius Pitt. We also selected a few X-Press readers to help with the mammoth Burrito – with 2m tall Riccardo (we figured he had plenty of space for food), eating challenge specialist Liam, surprise package Brisa and nice guy Marco. And rounding out the champion eaters were X-Press’ own Travis (Arts Editor) and Dwight (who makes things look pretty).
The result – 8 finishers, 1 quitter and a whole lotta fun. If you’re keen to see if you can conquer this beast, better be quick as it’s only at Mad Mex until the end of May.
