AURORA Moo fest sideshow announced

Norwegian singer-songwriter and producer AURORA has made a late call to play Metropolis Fremantle on Wednesday, May 8, on top of appearing at Groovin the Moo in Bunbury.

Born near the city of Bergen, AURORA released her debut single Awakening in 2013 and followed up with Under Stars, which led her to be signed by US label Glassnote Records. She came to further prominence in 2015 when her debut album All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend charted at #1 in Norway and across Western Europe.

Following over 200 million streams and huge sales with her debut album, the singer dropped the second LP in a two-part project, entitled Infections Of A Different Kind (Step I) last September, with Step II set for release on June 7. Tracks like Runaway and Queendom showcase her voice and has landed her a devoted following both in Australia and abroad.

New single The Seed contrasts heavily with lead single Animal, harking back to minimalistic sounds.

A Different Kind Of Human (Step II) is out June 7. Aurora plays Metropolis Fremantle on Wednesday, May 8 and Groovin the Moo in Bunbury on Saturday, May 11. Tickets on sale now.
