Abbe May has announced that her long-awaited album Fruit will be released on Friday, February 2, just in time for her Valentine’s Day show at Perth Fesitval.
The album is set to feature latest single Love Decline, one of her most honest and open offerings yet. “Fruit is a declaration of identity,” says May. “These songs are stories from my life. Some true, some exaggerated, but always for a purpose. I don’t want to hide anymore. I am proud and Fruit is my way of showing my face without shame.”
Abbe May will also be playing various shows around the country, including a show at Clancy’s Fish Pub in Dunsborough on Saturday, February 17.
Fruit is out Friday, February 2. Abbe May plays the Chevron Gardens on Wednesday, February 14 and Clancy’s Fish Pub Dunsborough, Saturday, February 17.
