It’s been 10 years since Sydney electro pranksters, Spod released their debut album, Taste The Radness, which is a perfect excuse to go back to the well. To that end, Friday, October 4 sees the release of Taste The Radness, The Ten Years Of Radness Edition. A digital release, this reissue includes not only the original album, but previously unreleased versions of Nerdz, Country Of Sweden and Loooife, a remix of Decoder Ring’s Born 2 Luv and two tracks from the vaults, Unzip It and Ohhh Yeaaahhh. All the new material will also be available as a separate EP.
What’s more, in 2014 we’re getting Spodumentary, which features interviews with the likes of The Presets, Regurgitator, Gerling and The Temper Trap and looks at not only Spod, but the ’90s musical environment that spawned them. Check out the trailer here.
